Ronal Eugene Litsey, known affectionately by friends and family as Ron, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2024, at the age of 75 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Born on November 5, 1948, in Henryetta, Oklahoma to Paul and Elizabeth (Atwood) Litsey he was a cherished son of the Sooner State, whose warmth and humor touched all who knew him.

As a child, Ron had polio and overcame many obsticles. After completing his education in CAD drafting at OSU Tech, Ron embarked on a successful career as a circuit board engineer. His expertise and dedication to his craft were well recognized in the field, and his contributions to various projects left a lasting impact on the industry. His colleagues knew him as a man who brought not only skill but also humor and camaraderie to the workplace.

Beyond his professional achievements, Ron was a man of many talents and interests. His passion for music was undeniable, and he played guitar professionally for many years. He was a prominent figure in the local music scene, having been a member of several bands, including Crazy Leg and The Broke Brothers. His musical legacy is one of joyous evenings and shared melodies, and he will be fondly remembered for the life and soul he brought to every performance.

Those who knew Ron would describe him as funny, friendly, and loving. His quick wit and ability to find humor in every situation brought laughter to any gathering. He had the rare gift of making friends wherever he went, and his approachable and kindhearted nature meant that he was loved by many. Ron is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Sonny Litsey and sister, Ginger Litsey.

Ron's life was one marked by dedication, creativity, and a love for his family. He is survived by his loving daughter, Amber Orologio and husband Jack, his son, Aaron Litsey, his granddaughters, Avery Orologio, Michaela Orologio and Jace Orologio and his ex wife, Karen Litsey all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Each of them was a source of immense pride and joy to Ron, and he cherished every moment spent with them. His role as a father and grandfather was one he took on with great love and enthusiasm, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and strong family values.

Viewing for Ron will be from 4:00 PM till 8:00 PM on Monday, March 25, 2024 at Integrity Funeral Service.

Funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Integrity Funeral Chapel with Rex Walcher officiating. Burial will follow the service at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta, Oklahoma.
