Mr. Ronald Lee Collett Jr

Ronald Lee Collett, Jr, lately of Phoenix, AZ, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2025, at the age of 66. Ron was born in St. Charles, MO, and raised in Henryetta, OK. Although he lived briefly in Missouri and New Mexico, Ron lived primarily in Oklahoma until the late 1980s. He graduated from Henryetta High School in 1976 and graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Ron earned a second Bachelor of Science, this time in Accounting, in 1987 from the University of Central Oklahoma College of Business. He moved to the Phoenix area in 1987, returning to Oklahoma frequently to visit family.

A career accountant, Ron also maintained a small business with his partner, Rhonda. Ron assisted with family businesses throughout his life, including the Colonial Motel & Pancake House, Daylight Donuts, and Ronnie & Ronda Tog Shop. He held a real estate license as well. He was a life-long OSU fan, following many OSU teams and even becoming Moderator of an OSU Facebook group. Ron was also an active member of the Cherokee Nation. He loved attending music concerts, spending time with his grandchildren, and sharing life with Rhonda and their dogs.

He is survived by his loving partner, Rhonda (Bearden) Alvarez; his son, Zach (Lea Anne; children Rhiannon & Ronan); his son, Jared (Yvonne; children Edmond & Alexander); and his son Corey (Dayna; children Kai & Quinn). He is also survived by his sister, Ronda Ann Collett Skaggs (Jim), and his brother, John Wertz (Sheri). He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Ronald Lee Collett and Diana Marie Reynolds Collett, and their parents: Frank Collett & Gunell "Mimi" Collett, and Paul & Irene Reynolds.

Viewing will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, February 2, 2025 with family present to greet friends at Integrity Chapel in Henryetta, OK.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Monday, February 3, 2025 at Integrity Chapel. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery.
