Ruben Monroe Cindle, a longtime resident of Dewar, was born April 26, 1930 in Eufaula, Oklahoma to Tom Cindle & Dessie Swearingen Cindle. He passed away, Friday, January 8, 2010 in Muskogee at the age of 79. He married Velma Ruth Owens on September 2, 1952 in Okmulgee and celebrated 57 years of marriage. Ruben retired from PPG Industries and had also enjoyed several other jobs of various vocations. He was a member of the Dewar I.O.O. F. Lodge, American Legion and a life member of the VFW. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving with the United States Army. He is survived by his wife Velma of the home 1 son, Randy Cindle & wife Kay of Huntsville, Arkansas 1 daughter, Rhonda Treagesser & husband Steve of Okmulgee 5 grandsons, Allen Cindle of Okemah Scott Cindle of Paden Ryan Treagesser of Okmulgee Shane Treagesser of Henryetta Todd Treagesser of Morris 8 great grandchildren, Catherine Cindle, Bailey Cindle, Abagail Cindle, Brittany Cindle, Tanner Davis, Kyle Treagesser, Jordyn Treagesser, & Riley Treagesser 2 brothers, Bill Cindle & wife Pat of Pierce Richard Cindle & wife Tricia of Porum 2 sisters, Mildred Eaton of Midwest City Wanda Hayes & husband Barto of Edmond Special friend & hunting buddy, Mike Couch of Dewar As well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives Pallbearers will be, Allen Cindle, Scott Cindle, Ryan Treagesser, Shan Treagesser, Todd Treagesser & Justin McFerrin. Honorary pallbearers will be, Lee Crum, Vernon Mauldin, Jimmy Bingham, Leon Greb, John Eaton, Dean Christian, Paul Dodge, & Carlton Dodge. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at Dewar First Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Waites & Rev. Jack Vance officiating. Eulogy will be brought by Steve Treagesser. Interment will be in Pierce Cemetery with full Military Honors. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
