Ruby Bernice Boling-Nelson of Weleetka, OK was born to
Pete and Lola Mae Sanders in Wetumka, OK and entered the
gates of Heaven on Thursday August 6, 2020 at 7:15 am, at the
age of 78.
On October 4, 1958 she married the love of her life David O.
Boling. They made their home and raised their family of three
children in Weleetka, OK during their fifty years of marriage.
After the passing of David, she was blessed to find love again
in Raymond Nelson and they were united in marriage on
December 10, 2010 where she gained a bonus family of 7
children.
She made her lifelong career as payroll manager at Anchor
Glass Container in Henryetta, OK.
She was faithful in serving and attending several churches in
the area during her life, most recently she was a member of the
First Freewill Baptist Church of Weleetka, OK. She also served as
treasurer for the local Senior Citizen Center.
In life, some of her many passions were being a dedicated
wife, mother, grandma, and nanny. She enjoyed cooking,
shopping, and crafts. She took pride in decorating her home and
in gardening.
Survivors include: husband Ray Nelson of the Talihina
Veterans Center, brother Floyd and wife Judy Jay of Kansas,
children Debbie and husband Kevin Brill, Joe Boling, and Ed and
wife Pat Boling all of Weleetka, OK. Grandchildren Shauna and
husband Cody Nelson of Calera, OK, and Brad and wife Ashley
Burton of Wetumka, OK. Great grandchildren include Makayla
Thomas, Shelby and Eli Nelson, and Braxton Burton.
Survivors of her bonus family include Ray's children: Terry
and husband Jeff Frier, Diane and husband Mark Kisselburg, Cheryl
and husband Walter Marchuk, Paula and husband George
Marchuk, Cami Harris, Raymond Nelson Jr. and Sam and husband
Brent Franklin. Of the twenty- two grandchildren and twenty five
great grandchildren those that had the opportunity to get to know
her were Jessica and Jerry Fuller, Hanni and Brenna Marchuk,
Jayme Mills, Jeremiah and Remi Harris, Caleb Kisselburg, and
Alaina Kemp.
She was preceded in death by her husband David Boling, her
parents Pete Sanders and Lola Mae Jay, a brother Carlis Sanders,
and sister Lowana Pickett.
Memorial arrangements are being coordinated by Integrity
Funeral Service of Henryetta, OK. A memorial will be held Tuesday,
10:00am, August 11, 2020 at Living Water Church in Wetumka,
OK. A brief graveside service will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in
Weleetka, OK.
