Ruby Juanita Pierce

Ruby Juanita Pierce, a longtime resident of the rural Henryetta area, died Wednesday, February 10, 2010 in Okemah at the age of 85 years 7 months and 24 days. She was born June 17, 1924 in Hanna, Oklahoma to Elmer Johnny Brown and Clara Elizabeth (Kerns) Brown. Ruby was a member of the End Time Revival Tabernacle, South of Henryetta for over 33 years. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband Oliver "Gube" Pierce on March 11, 1998, her parents, one son, James Cyal Pierce, sister Geneva Pierce, 2 brothers, EJ Brown and Bud Brown, and by her grandson, Homer Angel Jr. She is survived by 8 children, Wanda Mae Gray-Rinne & husband Mel of Sams Point, Oklahoma, Deanie Angel of Henryetta, Burl Pierce of Henryetta, Cynthia Smith & husband James of McAlester, Roger Pierce & wife Dorothy of LaGrange, Texas, Judith Gray of Sams Point, Oklahoma, Larry Pierce & wife Terressa of Henryetta,Gary Pierce of Henryetta, 18 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren, sisters, Marylee Logan of Indianola, Glenda Upchurch of McAlester, Carolyn Gillispie of McAlester, Brothers, Don Brown of McAlester, Johnny Brown of McAlester, Allen Brown of Indianola, O'dell Brown of Ulan, Oklahoma, Glen Brown of Ulan, Oklahoma, and by a host of other relatives, church family and many friends. Pallbearers will be James Roberts, Chris Pierce, David Pierce, Mark Angel, Greg Gray, and Michael VanMeter Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Pierce, Gary Pierce, Burl Pierce, Roger Pierce, David Lawson, and James Henry Seabourn. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 14, 2010 at the End Time Revival Tabernacle south of Henryetta. Interment will be in End Time Revival Church Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
