Stanley Lee Harjo

Stanley Lee Harjo, 60, a resident of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, December 22nd, 2022 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Stanley was born August 12th, 1962 to Betty Ellen (Butler)Scott and Albert Harjo Sr.

Preceded in death by: parents, grandson, Bryson Harjo, brothers, Robert Dale Harjo, Albert (Bobby) Lee Harjo Jr., maternal grandparents Reba and John Butler, paternal grandparents Hattie and Bobby Harjo and grandmother Jeannie Starr.

Stanley attended Okmulgee High School participating in band, playing the saxophone. He also loved playing softball as a first baseman. Stanley married Betty Alexander Beaver in Okmulgee, Oklahoma on May 16th, 1990. After raising his family and having grandchildren he found it a great time being with them. He loved his grandchildren very much. Stanley was also a talented leather worker and enjoyed listening to all kinds of music

Those left to cherish Stanley's memory are his wife, Betty A. (Beaver)Harjo of the home, children: Stanvenna Harjo of Okmulgee, LaHoma Smith and husband Daniel of Liberty, and Delilah Harjo of Okmulgee
Grandchildren: Isaiah Smith, Anashja Barker, Ian Smith, Paisley Harjo, Ca'Laiyah Vaughn, Xhenan Vaughn and Journey Harjo, sister Sonya R. Lowery and husband Allen , and sister-in-law Jenny Harjo.

Those serving as Pallbearers will be: Anthony Beaver, Ward Beaver Jr., Wesley Beaver, Keyonce Seals, Erik Harjo, and Marcus Harjo. Honorary Pallbearers: Rick Powell, Aaron Grimes, Brent Grimes, Tyler Corn, Lloyd Fulton and Cayden Stills.

Viewing is scheduled for 2:00PM to 4:00PM Tuesday, December 27th 2022 at Integrity Funeral Service, 410 E. Trudgeon, Henryetta, Oklahoma 74437

Wake Service is scheduled for 7:00PM at Belvin Baptist Church, 320 N. Mission Lane, Okmulgee, Oklahoma

Funeral Service is scheduled for 2:00PM Wednesday, December 28th, 2022 at Belvin Baptist Church.

Interment will follow at Tallahassee Indian Baptist Church, located North of Okmulgee and West off Celia Berryhill Road, Okmulgee
