Suzie Lee Burney

Suzie Lee Burney, a resident of Henryetta, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016 in Henryetta, OK at the age of 79. She was born July 1, 1937 in Henryetta, OK to Sam Bozarth & Mary (Johnson) Bozarth.

Suzie married the love of her life Connie Milford Burney "Dude" in 1960.

She was a member of the Hoffman Baptist Church.

She dearly enjoyed being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed camping at the lake with her family & friends, fishing, playing cards, and shopping. She enjoyed large family gatherings and was best known for her fantastic cooking.

Suzie was preceded in death by her parents, Sam & Mary Bozarth, her husband Connie Milford "Dude" Burney, son, Arthur Burney, her siblings, 3 brothers, Bill Doyle and Gilbert Bozarth, 2 sisters, Betty Henley and Sarah Nunn.

Suzie is survived by three sons, Larry Burney & companion, Carolyn Herbert,
James Burney, and Bill Burney & wife Kathy, one daughter-in-law, Linda, Burney,
seven grandchildren;
Bill Burney; Karen Jefferson & husband Landon; Samantha Payne & husband Lyle; Tyler Burney; Christopher Burney; James David Burney & wife Alice; Cassie Gilmore;
eight great grandchildren; Whitney & Ashley Jefferson; Racer & Brianna Edwards; Braden Williams; Lucas Gilmore; Trisha Sue Gilmore; Terry Gilmore, and two great-great grandchildren, Maddix Lucero, and Nevaeh Burney.

Viewing will be from 4-8pm Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Integrity Funeral Service.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Friday, September 2, 2016 at 1:00pm at the Hoffman Baptist Church with Rev. Duke Britt, officiating. Interment will follow at Hoffman Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.

Pallbearers will be Artie Skupien, Lyle Payne, Landon Jefferson, Mike McCarroll, Jake Nunn, and Timmy Lawson.
