Sylvia Jean (Molet)Kramer was born November 1st 1946 in Henryetta, OK. She was the 3rd child born to Jon Molet & Bessie (Arnold) Molet-Gavras, she was the baby girl so Sylvia was doted on and spoiled by her parents and siblings resulting in her brothers giving her the nickname “Brat”. Sylvia was known by her brothers and family as “Brat”throughout her adult life. She loved to be spoiled and a good scary movie while snuggling in her bed.
Sylvia was a life long Henryetta resident being born at home on Meacham Street. She then attended Henryetta Schools graduating with the Hens Class of 1964 with her very best friend Betty (Minyard) Allen of 64 years that never left her side.
Sylvia had an immense passion for caring for others and started working as a candy striper at the age of 13 for Henryetta Hospital following in the footsteps of her mother that had a love for nursing inspiring Sylvia to have the same passion.
Sylvia graduated high school and continued her life in nursing attending the Muskogee General Hospital nursing program, obtaining her licensed practical nurse certification. Sylvia took her new-found knowledge of nursing and joined her mother (Bessie Gavras) at Fountain View Manor for many years in the family owned business her mother had built.
Sylvia worked as a nurse until she chose to further her education and attend Oklahoma University where she obtained her nursing home administrator license and associates degree becoming the administrator at Fountain View Manor. Sylvia was the administrator for many years until she passed the torch to her middle daughter Jennifer. Her daughters Jennifer and Dayna followed in their mother and grandmother’s footsteps. They carry on the generations of devoted love for caring for others.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her father John Molet, her precious mother Bessie Molet-Gavras, step-dad Mike Gavras, both of her dearly loved brothers, Pat & Johnny Molet, one son Robert Kramer Jr, 2 sisters-in-law Ann Molet & Sue Kramer, her mother-in-law Vivian Kramer, and one brother in law Leroy Kramer, aunts, uncles, cousins ,and friends.

Sylvia loved her husband, children and grandchildren more than words could express. Sylvia had a special bond with each child and had to talk to each of them daily and sometimes many times a day. She always had the words, special kiss, and hug that melted away any worry we may have. She was a prayer seeking, kind hearted, thankful, loving, devoted soul. To know her was to love her.
