Teresa Michelle (Goodson) Roberson, a resident of Henryetta, passed from this life on Sunday, February 4, 2018 in Henryetta at the age of 50. Teresa was born on September 12, 1967 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Charles Leonard Goodson and Deborah (Shepard) Goodson Smith.
Teresa grew up in the McAlester area, attended school there, and graduated from McAlester High School. She later attended East Central State University in Ada where she majored in finance.
Teresa lived for several years in Germany, where her husband was stationed with his military service. Teresa loved watching television, shopping, and trips to the casino. She loved getting dressed up and wearing her favorite jewelry. Most of all though, Teresa will be remembered by her family as a loving daughter, sister, mother and grandmother and she will be missed greatly.
She is preceded in death by her father, Charles L Goodson; her grandparents, Germaine and Dan Shepard; an uncle, Ron Shepard; a grandmother, Annalee Goodson; and a sister, Rhonda Shepard.
She leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memories including a daughter, Brittany Hoadley and husband Scott of Broken Arrow, OK; her mother, Deborah Smith; three sisters, Marla Byroads and companion Dave Hutchings of Henryetta, Nichole Randall and husband Justin of Henryetta, and Tricia Caldwell; two brothers, Sean Sanford and wife Judy of Okemah and Phillip Perez of Okemah; a step-brother, Thomas Goodson; two step-sisters, Dena Goodson and Tina Myers; two grandsons, Collin Hoadley and Noah Northern of Broken Arrow; three nieces, Madison Byroads, Janie Palmer, and Julia Morton; four nephews, Justin Palmer, Aiden Randall, Nicholas George, and Devin George; by other extended family and many good friends.
The family has designated Alzheimers Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., 17th floor, Chicago, IL 60601-7633 as appropriate for memorial contributions.
A memorial service for Teresa will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 2:00pm at Integrity Chapel in Henryetta with Rev. Brandon McConnell officiating. Her remains will be buried at a later date at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta. Cremation and service arrangements have been entrusted to Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta.
