Tona Jonell Hagy

Tona Jonell Hagy, a cherished resident of McAlester, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 61. She was born on July 2, 1962, in Henryetta, Oklahoma, to Lawrence and Geneva Beatrice (King) Best.
Tona was a vibrant soul who brought joy to those around her. She had a passion for dancing and found immense joy in spending time with her beloved grandchildren. Her warmth and love will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Tona was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Geneva, and her sisters, Cathy Green and Debra White.
She is survived by her husband, Garry Hagy; her son, Kenneth Dalton, and his wife Kelly of Grove, Oklahoma; her daughter, Kristel Freeman of Morris, Oklahoma; her treasured grandchildren, Brady Dalton and Jaylee Gray of Grove, and Addisyn Dalton and Jayden Dalton of Stuart, Kalin Grogan and Cash Freeman of Morris. She is also survived by her sister, Karion Goff, and her husband David of Tuttle; her brothers, Danny Dalton of Wetumka, Earnest Best of Ardmore, and James Best and his wife Cheryl of South Carolina, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
