Truman Odell, a longtime resident of Henryetta and a very proud United States Veteran passed away Saturday, May 23rd, 2020 in Muskogee at the age of 96. He was born September 2, 1923 in Asher, Oklahoma.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ilene Odell in 2006.
Truman was a bomber in World War II, serving with the United States Army Air Corps. He flew over 35 missions in the B-17 over Germany. He was a member of the VFW Post #539.
He is survived by two grandchildren, Lance Fisher of Springdale, Arkansas;
Heidi Fisher of Huntsville, Arkansas;
One brother, Bill Odell;
Two sisters, Nathalie and Katherine.
Viewing for Truman will be from 4-8pm, Tuesday, May 26th at Integrity Funeral Service.
Graveside services with full military honors will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 27th, 2020 at Wanette Cemetery, Wanette, Oklahoma under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
