Uthana Pippin

Uthana Pippin, a resident of Henryetta passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 82. Uthana was born on September 10, 1928 in Schulter, Ok to Cleve Parker and Lela Belle Parker. Uthana married Herbert Pippin in 1948, together they had 3 children; Beverly Poulton, Gloria Webster, and Mike Pippin. Uthana was a longtime faithful member of Salem Baptist Church. She was a full time homemaker, faithful wife, and loving mother. Uthana served the lord faithfully and her loving and giving spirit brought joy to all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert; son, Mike Pippin; 2 brothers; Jack Parker and Jimmy Parker; and one sister, Billie Wilhite. She is survived by two daughters, Beverly Poulton and Gloria Webster, both of Henryetta, 5 grandchildren, Steve & Stewart Poulton; Jeremy, Brian, and Jennifer Webster; and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Wolfe officiating. Interment will follow at Sonora Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
