Virginia Irene Roberts, a resident of Pharoah, passed away Monday, October 28, 2013 at her home in Pharoah, OK at the age of 75. She was born December 3, 1937 in Rural Okmulgee County, OK to Charlie Frank James & Bonnie (Ross) James.

She married Jerry Lee Roberts on June 24, 1955 in Henryetta.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Bonnie James, sisters, Dorothy Fish, Helen Clifton, Nancy Brownfield, Joann Knoblcok, brothers, Doug James and Charlie James.

Virginia is survived by her husband Jerry Lee Roberts of the home,
son, Dale Roberts & wife Patti of Pharoah,
daughter, Penny Roberts of Oklahoma City,
daughter, Sherry Roberts Roach & husband Jerry of Pharoah,
son, Robin Roberts & wife Ramelle of Muskogee,
6 grandchildren, Brad Roberts, Kim Roberts, Jesse Roach, Seneca Roach, Kelsey Roberts, and Brent Roberts, 2 great grandchildren, Seth Roberts and Braden Martinez,
brothers, Bobby James, Don James, Johnny James and Jimmy James,
sister, Veta Kay Maxwell,
as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Brad Roberts, Kim Roberts, Kelsey Roberts, Brent Roberts, Jesse Roach, Seneca Roach, & Seth Roberts.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, November 1, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Immanuel Baptist Church in Henryetta with Rev. Brayden Buss, officiating. Interment will follow at New Sonora Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
