Wanda (Kelly) Froman passed away Sunday, March 28th, 2021 in Tulsa at the age of 80. She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie & Ester Kelly, baby brother William and baby sister Mariah.
Wanda worked for Muscogee (Creek) Nation for over 30 plus years in various positions She worked in the dental clinic, then the housing department for several years. She reitred from the finance department.
She enjoyed working for the tribe and made many friends. She developed many lasting friendships with her co-workers. She developed many lasting friendships with her co-workers.
She enjoyed the outdoors whether it be working in her yard or going "crappie fishing". She loved all family gatherings and reunions with her Creek and Cherokee relatives. She loved spending time with her daughter, granddaughters and especially her great granddaughter, Valerie Rose.
She is survived by her daughter, Gayla Waller of Okmulgee;
Two granddaughters, Gwen Waller of Okmulgee;
Kimberley Waller of Okmulgee;
One great granddaughter, Valerie Rose Waller of Okmulgee;
Three brothers, Earl Kelly of Dewar;
Leroy & wife Cindi of Topeka, Kansas,
Billy Dean Kelly of Kansas City;
Many nieces and nephews and other relatives in both Creek and Cherokee tribes.
Her smiling face and sense of humor will be greatly missed.
At the request of the family, the casket will remain closed at the funeral home and also the funeral service.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 20th, 2021 at Dewar First Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Bible officiating. Interment will follow in New Sonora Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Kelly, Joe Nathan Kelly, Jeremiah Kelly, Charles Michael Kelly, Mike Sloan, Mekko Riley, Kyle Hart and Jerry Floyd.
