Waymon Ray Maghe, a resident of Henryetta, passed away in Henryetta on Monday, May 13, 2013 at the age of 54. Wayman was born on November 15, 1958 in Dumas, Texas to Harold Maghe and Frances Smith Maghe. Wayman grew up in California in the communities of Redwood City and Carson. He is a member of the First Baptist Church of Dewar. Waymon was a roofer by trade and spent several years in that capacity. He is preceded in death by his mother and father; his grandmother Rose Taylor, his grandfather Louis Smith, and by two aunts, Dorothy Gilroy and Florene Bentley. Waymon is survived by his step-father Albert Kessel of Dewar; 3 sisters, Florene Lindemuth and husband Adam of Dewar, Karen Burdine of Dibble, Texas, Roseanna Parker of Dewar, and Lynn Kessel and husband Alex of Morris; 2 brothers, Danny Kessel and wife Karen of Anaheim, CA and Harold Maghe & wife Ailiene of Harver City, CA; and by 17 nieces and nephews and 21 great nieces and nephews; as well as many good friends. Private family services will be held at a later date. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta.
