Wayne Morris Couch

Wayne Morris Couch, 59, a resident of Sapulpa, Oklahoma passed away Monday, November 25th, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Wayne was born October 24th, 1965 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to Edna Ann (Barker) and Raymond B. Couch.

Wayne is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald Couch and sister, Donna (Couch) Johnson.

Wayne was raised in Dewar, Oklahoma where he attended Dewar Schools where he participated in baseball and football. He would have a lifelong love of sports. Wayne graduated in 1983 and would go on to work for a few years before he would return to his education and start attending OSU-Okmulgee where he would receive an Associates degree in Automotive Parts. Wayne would meet his wife Kimberly Dawn (Tuttle) and they were married September 30th, 2000. Wayne and Kimberly would be blessed with the birth of their son Blayne in 2006. Wayne continued his work in Automotive Parts Sales at Riverside Chevrolet, Autozone, O'Reilly's and Bumper to Bumper. Wayne finished his work at Ace Hardware, Wayne was a hard worker but made time for others in his life. His love of family, God and his church filled his life with love and fulfillment. He was a committed member of his church, attending at every opportunity. Wayne continued to enjoy his hobbies which were supporting his favorite teams, the OU Sooners and Kansas City Chiefs. He also loved to fish, not necessarily catching them but spending time on the water and with friends.

Wayne was much loved and will be greatly missed. Our comfort is Wayne's presence with his Lord and family that finished their race before him.

Wayne is survived by his loving family, son Blayne Couch of Sapulpa, mother of his son, Kimberly Couch of Sapulpa, brothers: Sonny Couch of Odessa, Texas, Raymond Eugene Couch and wife Cynthia of Henryetta, Oklahoma, Michael Ray Couch and wife Sandra of Henryetta, Oklahoma; sister-in-law Virginia Couch and brother-in-law Charles Johnson also of Henryetta, Oklahoma.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 30th, 2024 at the Community Freewill Baptist Church, 22 S. Selsor St., Kiefer, Oklahoma.
