William Henry Freeman, Jr.

William Henry Freeman Jr. known to his family and friends as "Junior" was born Oct 18, 1926 in Castle, OK to Maude (Henderson) and Bill Freeman Sr. He passed away July 5, 2009 at Liberty, Missouri at the age of 82. Junior married Naomi Ruth Marshall in December 1962. He was self-employed in the auto salvage business. A veteran of WWII Junior served as Second Gunners Mate serving with the US Navy. Junior was preceded in death by his wife and parents, three brothers: Hartsell, Calvin & James Robert Freeman, and two sisters: Louise Livingstone and Judy Gobin. Survivors include his children: Brenda Williams of Council Hill, Gail King of Henryetta, Lori Green of Liberty, MO and John Freeman of Henryetta. Six grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Five Brothers, Orville Freeman of Henryetta, Paul Freeman of Muskogee, Doug Freeman of Henryetta, Billy Freeman of Missouri, Gary "Smokey" Freeman of Henryetta, Four sisters: Mary Ellis of Henryetta, Margaret Viersen of Morris, Lois Watson of Nevada, Linda Niklas of Henryetta, Also a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives. He was associated with the United Pentecostal Church in Liberty, MO. He loved playing dominoes with his buddies at the Colonial restaurant, garage sales, auctions and visiting with his friends. He lived his life as an example for others and left a Godly legacy. Pallbearers will be, Bruce Freeman, Terry Freeman, Mark Shurden, Doug Randall, Robby Meadows, and Michael Haney. Honorary Pallbearers are: Paul Freeman, Orville Freeman, Doug Freeman, Billy Freeman, Smokey Freeman and his dear friend, Everett Crandell. Junior will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 11, 2009 at the Dewar United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Matthew Martin, officiating. Interment will be in Salt Creek Cemetery with Rev. Scott Randall, officiating. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service, 410 East Trudgeon.
