William A. "Bill" Johnson, a resident of Henryetta, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at his home in Henryetta at the age of 64. Bill was born on November 22, 1948 in Kemp, Oklahoma to Delmer Curtis Johnson and Betty Lou (Waitman) Johnson. Bill grew up in southwest Oklahoma and in Texas. He graduated from Irving, TX High School. Bill later received his formal training in heat and air repair at OSU Tech in Okmulgee. He worked for several years in the heat and air repair business and later was employed by the city of Okmulgee as a city wastewater plant operator. Bill was married to Sherry Rutledge on September 28, 2001 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. He was a member of Pharaoh Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his mother and father; his sister, Marsha Johnson; and his step-daughter, Christy Logue. Bill is survived by his wife, Sherry Johnson of the home; 3 daughters, Laura Johnson of Tulsa, Nicole Biddle of Auburn, CA, and Channel Johnson of Tulsa A step-son, Scott Benton and fiancé©' Tina of Siloam Springs, Arkansas Two brothers, Gary Johnson and wife Annette of Ennis, TX, and Terry Johnson of Kemp, TX; One sister, Delma Johnson of Durant, OK A step-dad, Pat Flavin of Durant, OK A step-mother, Nena Johnson of Irving, TX 14 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many good friends. A memorial service for Bill will be held on Friday, April 12, 2013 at 7:00pm at Pharoah Baptist Church with Rev. Roy Rogers officiating. A second memorial service will be held in Kemp, OK on Saturday at 2:00pm with Rev. Roger Spears officiating. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta.
