Willie Mae Britt, a beloved mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away peacefully in in Henryetta, Oklahoma home on July 16, 2023. She was born on September 24, 1939, in Bugtussle, Oklahoma, to Ben and Auddie (Rodden) Beshear.

Known for her unwavering kindness, generosity, and loving nature, Willie Mae touched the lives of many. She was a pillar of strength and a beacon of light to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her warm spirit and caring heart were evident in her long and dedicated career as a caregiver for Volunteers of America. Willie Mae always put others before herself, a trait that made her a cherished member of her community and family.

Willie Mae had a passion for sewing, cooking, and caring for people. Her love for her church was a testament to her faith and commitment to serving others. She enjoyed spending her free time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her family and friends. Her sewing skills were second to none, and she often gifted her beautiful creations to those she held dear.

Willie Mae is survived by her son, Randy Tucker and his wife Sarah of McAlester; Vicki Dykes and her husband David of Schulter; Donna Stangborn and her wife Pat of Laguna Vista, Texas and Tom Britt; a sister, Joan Gallo and her husband Tony of McAlester, her grandchildren, Jeremy Tucker, Matthew Tucker, Ryan Fowler, Kendale Fowler, Chase Morrow, Fawn Thomas, Farra Dykes, Miranda Drake, Hannah Dykes and Mary Kate Dykes. She is also remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Britt, her parents, Ben and Auddie Beshear, her son Mickael J. Tucker, her sister Lily Faye House, and her three brothers, Ernie Beshear, Carol Beshear, and Vernon Beshear.

As the famous quote by Maya Angelou goes, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel". Willie Mae embodied this sentiment, leaving a lasting impact on everyone she met. Her legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Willie Mae Britt was a woman of strength, compassion, and unwavering faith. She was a beacon of hope and a source of comfort to many. Her memory will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Her life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and generosity, and she will be missed dearly.

Viewing for Willie Mae will be from 4 - 8 pm, Tuesday, July 18th, 2023 at Integrity Funeral Service.

Pallbearers will be, Jeremy Tucker, Matthew Tucker, Braxton Tucker, Ryan Fowler, Bo Burney, Lucky Burney, & Glen Beshear.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 19th, 2023 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Will Gordon officiating. Interment will follow in Hoffman Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
