Wilma Jean Sprouse

Wilma Jean Sprouse a longtime resident of Dewar passed away Saturday, January 18th, 2025 at her home in Dewar at the age of 86. She was born August 19th, 1938 to Raymond Cecil (Bus) Sparks and Alice (Pennington) Sparks.

She married John Sprouse April 16, 1965 in Union Valley, Oklahoma. She was a member of Silver Spring Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Bus and Alice Sparks, two brothers, Johnny Sparks and Cecil Sparks as well as a sister-in-law, Linda Sparks.

She is survived by her husband, John of the home;

A son, Tony Sprouse of Denver, Colorado;

A granddaughter, Aubrey Kosakowski;

A niece, Sherri Whitlow & husband Mike;

Two nephews, Gary Sparks and wife Lynn;

Jeff Sparks and wife Amy;Ashley Hancock,

Great-nieces and nephews: Kelli Carpenter, Sarah Lively, Hailey Sparks

Baylee Clark and Taylor Peters, Dillon Caywood, Nick Caywood, Rhett Whitlow, Ty Whitlow, Gabriella Whitlow; And also by a host of friends and other relatives.

Viewing for Wilma will be from 5-8 pm, Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

Pallbearers will be nephews, Gary Sparks, Jeff Sparks, Dillon Caywood, Nick Caywood, Rhett Whitlow, & Ty Whitlow.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 25th, 2025, at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Dennis Bible officiating and eulogy by Kelly Ingold. Interment will follow in Council Hill Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
