She was born Wednesday, December 28, 1921 in Mulhall, OK to Roy Barker & Lula (Robinson) Barker. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Verlin Barker, and by 2 sisters, Alma Donell, and Betty Longan Wilma is survived by her husband Leamiel Vassaur of the home, Son, Larry Vassaur & wife Vickey of Shawnee, three grandchildren, Darren Vassaur & Nicci of Oklahoma City, Amy Young & husband Brandon of Shawnee, and Kimberly Sibley & husband William of Oklahoma City, four great grandchildren, Nicholas Vassaur of Oklahoma City, Elizabeth Vassaur of Oklahoma City, Breeana Young of Shawnee, and Brison Young of Shawnee, as well as other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be, Darren Vassaur, Brandon Young, William Sibley, and Nicholas Vassaur. Viewing will be from noon - 8 pm on Tuesday, October 9, at Shurden Funeral Home. Funeral Services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Church of Christ in Henryetta with Rex Walcher, officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Shurden Funeral Home.
