Wilson Lee King, Jr., a lifetime resident of Okmulgee passed away Thursday, December 31st, 2020 in Okmulgee at the age of 65. He was born to Wilson King, Sr. and Wanda Lee (West) King in Sac-A-Tone, Arizona.
Wilson married Karen Lynn Burgess June 8, 1991 at Little Cussetah United Methodist Church. He was a track inspector for Union Pacific railroad, retiring June 1, 2016. He was a member of Little Cussetah United Methodist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilson King, Sr. and Wanda Lee King, also his father-in-law, Monroe Burgess, Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Lynn King of the home;
Three children, Matthew King of Okmulgee;
Whitney King of Okmulgee;
Esiah King also of Okmulgee;
Six siblings, Linda Bemore of Okmulgee;
JoAnn Harjo of Okmulgee;
Dewayna King of Morris;
Allen King of Okmulgee;
Bobby King of Okmulgee;
Lisa Sands of Okemah;
Jimmy King of Weleetka;
Christine King of Henryetta;
Also by many nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
Viewing for Wilson will be from 1 - 4pm Tuesday, January 5th at Integrity Funeral Service.
The casket will be taken to Little Cussetah United Methodist Church at 4pm for Wake Services at 7pm.
Wilson's nephews will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers, Geoff miller, Larry Weber, Ron Chunestudy, Kent Acre, Harry Tulsa, Larry Harjo and Clifford Sands.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 6th, 2021 at Little Cussetah United Methodist Church with Rev. Nelson Harjo officiating. Interment will follow in Burgess Family Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
