Yanah Proctor

Yanah Proctor, 75, resident of Dustin, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, August 1st, 2021 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Yanah was born September 7th, 1945 in Hanna, Oklahoma to Willie and Fannie (Tiger) Proctor.

Yanah worked in the healthcare industry. she loved her job taking care of the elderly. She had many patients in her care during her working career. Momma loved her sisters and brothers and enjoyed travel; she has been all over the state. Momma loves being around her grandbabies, doing puzzles; she could put them together faster than anything. And who doesn't like going to the casinos and losing money? Momma loves the casino. Momma loved her dogs. She always had plenty and would take in strays or abandoned animals. Tiny was her baby and she spoiled her, always making her chicken for all her meals. Momma moved back to Dustin later in life where she loved and cared for her children, grandkids, her family, pets. She also loved living in the country. Momma loved her family and will be greatly missed.

Momma had two brothers and one sister, Sandy Proctor of Dustin, Irene Thompson of Oklahoma City and Willie Proctor of Tulsa. Momma lived in Dustin, with her brother Sandy and Florence Proctor after her parents passed. Momma later moved to Haskell where she married Johnny Waterdown. They were blessed with five children: daughter Teresa and Teddy James of Okmulgee, their children: Tiffany, Brandy, Amanda and Johnathan; Sammie and husband Kelly Pressler of Keifer, their children: Christopher, Jeremy, Candice, KeAndre, Michael, Mahayla, Matthew and Ray; daughter: Lisa and husband Joel Huseman, their children: Christina, Sammy Jo, Thomasina, Savanna and Dylan; daughter: Shana Smith of Okmulgee and sons Dominic and Mekko Waterdown; Son: Jess and wife Sanya Waterdown and their childdren: Cheyann, Jess Jr. and Kotcha

Viewing and Visitation is scheduled for 2:00PM to 4:00PM Wednesday August 4th, 2021 at Integrity Funeral Service

Wake Services are scheduled for 6:00PM to 8:00PM Wednesday August 4th, 2021 at Faith Baptist Church, Dustin, Oklahoma
