James Allen Green

James Allen Green, a resident of Henryetta-Morris area passed away, Saturday, August 17th, 2019 in Henryetta at the age of 55. He was born November 28th, 1963 in Nashville, Arkansas to Rufus Alton Green and Lorene (Monks) Sudderth.

James married Shelly Hall on July 25th, 1985 in Stigler, Oklahoma. To this union two children were born, Jami and Jake.

James worked as a sales representative for Performance Foods and was a faithful member of the New Life United Pentecostal Church in Checotah. James was devoted to witnessing and spreading God's word and salvation to all he met. On Wednesday, August 14th, 2019 he spoke to the young people of New Life even in a weakened condition encouraging to work for God.

He is preceded in death by his father Rufus Green and his mother, Lorene Sudderth.

James is surivived by his wife, Shelly of the home;
Two children, Jami Pridemore of Morris;
Jake Green of the home;
Three grandchildren, Karson Pridemore of Stigler;
Jordan Pridemore of Morris;
Destiny Williams of Colorado;
Two brothers, Johnny Green of Mineral Springs, Arkansas;
Brad Sudderth & wife Bridget of Shawnee;
As well as his church family, friends, and a host of other relatives;

Viewing for James will be Tuesday from 6-8pm with family present to greet friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 21st, 2019 at New Life United Pentecostal Church, 805 W. Gentry, Checotah, Oklahoma. Rev. Derek Hanson & Rev. Justin Monks will officiate. Interment will follow in Morris Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.

Pallbearers will be, Johnny Green, Brad Sudderth, Kevin Godwin, Jerry Britt, Jake Green, & Tyler Bobo. Honorary pallbearers will be, David Monks, Leo Monks, Gary Monks & Matt Monks.
