Ruth Evelyn Grimm, 83,a resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed away peacefully on November 7, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born in Arkansas on November 26, 1939, Ruth was a beacon of love, an adventurous spirit, and a stalwart believer in the sanctity of the family.

Ruth's early educational journey began in Eufaula, Oklahoma. Still, her true vocation was found at home, being a loving wife and mother. Her days were brightened by the laughter of her loved ones, and her legacy would manifest in the love and zest for life she bestowed upon her family.

She married her loving husband Charles Grimm, carving out a life emphatically focused on warmth and compassion. Their marriage of many years was filled with precious memories and trips to sightseeing spots like The Great Lakes.

Ruth was an active woman with a fondness for Garage Sales, a fever shared by her husband Charles, and whoever she could talk into going with her. She frequented sales annually in Neosho, Missouri. Another favored pastime was the peaceful serenity of fishing at Eufaula Lake with her Charlie.

Imbued with a deep love for the divine, Ruth was a respected member of the Pentecostal Church in Tulsa, where she expressed her devotion in song and sermon, and enjoying her brother-in-law sing Gospel songs. Behind her commitment to faith was Ruth's undying love for her family.

She was preceded in death by her infant daughter Lisa, her parents, Fines and Carrie Smith, brother, J.D. Smith, sisters, Peggy Adams, Elvareta Reynolds, Dollie Manning, and Emaline Smith.

She leaves behind a rich tapestry of family, knitted with love and cherished memories. Ruth is survived by her husband, Charles Grimm, her beloved daughter, Gayla Lee, two cherished grandchildren, Brooke Lee and Shawn Christopher Murrell, and five adored great grandchildren, Addie Faye Lee, Athena Elaine, Christopher, Shea, and Lynes.

Ruth's affectionate and giving nature was the glue that held the family together. She truly savored the priceless moments spent with her grandchildren and family members. Ruth will be remembered as a steady pillar of support, generosity, and love. Her vibrant spirit and her unwavering dedication to her family are an irreplaceable loss to those who were blessed to have known her. Ruth Evelyn Grimm, a true woman of valor, will continue to live in the treasured memories forever held dear by her grieving family. Her love story shall ring in the hearts of her descendants for generations to come.
