Terry Bruce "Goose" Stanton

Terry Bruce "Goose" Stanton, a resident of Dewar, passed away Wednesday, January 11th, 2023 in Dewar at the age of 69. He was born April 8, 1953 in Henryetta to W. C. "Pete" Stanton and Orphea "Bea" (Howk) Stanton.

He was a member of the Hoffman Baptist Church and a graduate of Dewar High School. He worked in directional drilling with Pense Brothers Drilling.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Cari Ann Stanton, three sisters, Charlene Freeman, Esther Spague and Ruth George, also by a nephew, Mark Beaver.

He is survived by three children, Eric Stanton & wife Shelli of Tulsa;
Waylon Thomason & wife Hayley of Henryetta;
Autumn Stanton & fiance' Cody Coe of Dewar;
Five grandchildren, Chase Stanton, Colton & Cali Thomason, Cami Brock & Tyler Paul;
A niece who was like a sister, Vicky Beaver of Morris;
One sister, Betty Sue Burney of Midwest City;
Also by a host of friends and other relatives.

Viewing will be from 4 - 8 pm, Monday, January 16th, 2023 and 8 am until noon on Tuesday at Integrity Funeral Service.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 17th, 2023 at Dewar First Baptist Church with Rev. Ryan Wells officiating. Interment will follow in Hoffman Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
